Michael Olson cultivated his first crop at the age of six and has since participated in the commercial production of a wide variety of crops in California, Montana and Oregon. Michael also consults on farm projects throughout the world, from the island of Cyprus to the jungles of Amazon AND right here in the United States. He has diverse experience from journalism and broadcast media management to developing and selling his very own fertilizer, and is an advocate for local business. Michael is currently a partner in the MO MultiMedia Group of Santa Cruz, California.

You can find nearby farms by the type of food you’re looking for, nearby CSAs, or you can order from small farms around the country for special fruits, produce in season. That includes flowers. So anyone interested can stop purchasing FTD florist flowers that are produced by multinationals at the expense of water and food for local people. These make great gifts.
