We have several videos available that cover the basics of harvesting and processing Mesquite.  This chat is for us to answer your questions that still remain.  

  • How and when to collect your beans – and important information on what to avoid.
  • How to prepare mesquite pods for milling – gain an understanding of how a community mill works and find out what you need to do BEFORE bringing your harvest.
  • How to store them until they are milled – how to avoid simple mistakes and keep your harvest safe.
  • Where to take them for milling – find out how simple the process is, and why a community mill is so efficient.
  • BONUS: We will also include some fun mesquite recipes to get you started!
