We have two 90 minute tours of a Permaculture Food Forest called Cultivated in Scottsdale. Join us either Friday evening or Saturday morning.
The property is a 10 year old food forest designed, built, and maintained by a landscape designer. You will see how fruit tree guilds can be effective and beautiful. Her 120 fruit trees, vegetable gardens and duck pens are great examples of how we can urban farm in the desert. While the yard is a fabulous permaculture example, it is also an example of a delightful entertaining space.
Kristin is an Edible Landscape Designer and Permaculture Educator who has transformed her property into a lush Food Forest. She has maximized her yard space with fruit trees of all kinds, vegetable gardens, duck pens and still found room for a pool. Her implementation of permaculture principles is in full display and her guilds are worth seeing more than once.
More details will be provided in the registration confirmation email.
