Urban Farm's Monthly Chat Rooms

Welcome to one of our favorite ways to build community around the things we love!  Greg and Janis have been hosting monthly chats on three different topics for several years and we wanted to make the process even easier to join us each month.

Please note that one key aspect in our Chats is that it is truly a community room. We love having the chance to answer questions and everyone can share ideas in the chat dialogue box.
Two rules: 1) Show respect and 2) Please don’t flood the chat room with links to outside sources.

Here’s how to join our monthly zoom chats each month:

Seed Chats

Our first Chat started as monthly Seed Classes with Greg and Bill McDorman on various Seed Saving topics.

When:

THIRD Tuesdays at:
4pm Pacific / 5pm Mountain
6pm Central / 7pm Eastern.
Arizona:
AZ: 4 pm (summer) / 5pm

Replays are available as podcasts early in the month following the live Chat.

Garden Chats

Our Victory Garden classes morphed into monthly Chats where we  bring in guests to talk about gardening topics.

When:

FOURTH Tuesdays at:
4pm Pacific / 5pm Mountain
6pm Central / 7pm Eastern.
Arizona:
AZ: 4 pm (summer) / 5pm

Replays are available as podcasts early in the month following the live Chat.

Tree Chats

And it makes sense to add Tree Classes for monthly tree care topics.

When:

SECOND Tuesdays at:
STANDARD time
4pm Pacific / 5pm Mountain
6pm Central / 7pm Eastern
and
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS
5pm Pacific / 6pm Mountain
7pm Central / 8pm Eastern

Arizona is at 5pm Always.

Replays are available as videos in our Tree Portal early in the month following the live Chat.

NOTE: While we do try to plan out our schedule of chats for the entire year, we reserve the right to change topics or adjust the schedule around holidays, vacations, and other events that may interrupt such plans.

Do you like our Chats?

Our Chats are free, and we have no plans to change that; however, we are not above asking for a little support.  If you can throw us a little financial love every once in a while, we greatly appreciate it as that helps us keep the lights on.
