Mesquite Walkabout in Peoria

Saturday, June 18th at 8 am.

Join Janis Norton as she takes you on a walking tour of the mesquite trees near Rio Vista Park.

You  will see, smell, touch, and taste mesquite trees and beans as you take our walking class and learn how to collect mesquite beans.

Improve your mesquite pod harvesting awareness through this annual refresher class. Depending on the weather and the trees, you might even be able to start your harvest.
