Welcome to the premier podcast for the
Grow Your Own Food Revolution!
By joining the Urban Farming Revolution and listening to The Urban Farm Podcast, you are a member of a global community of citizens who recognize the larger issues.
Our agricultural system is broken! We now have access to more yet less nutritious food than ever before. Food that has been soaked in chemicals, harvested with shipping and shelf life in mind over nutrient value. Food that has been grown across the globe in exploited soils by exploited people.
As urban farmers we are the new visonary gardeners, revitalizing our environment, growing nutrient dense fresh foods. We are the true revolutionaries.
The Urban Farm Podcast is your connection to the food revolution with twice-weekly conversations with some of the best and most innovative regenerative farmers and home gardeners out there, interviews with up and coming urban growers, and inspiration from healthy-food visionaries around the globe. All of our podcast guests are making a difference to create a better tomorrow and inspire you to do the same.
Through the podcast, you can learn to free yourself from the disconnected nature of our industrial food system. You can learn how to take control of your health, connect to the earth, and foster a more enriching life. Each episode, we provide the inspiration, knowledge, and tools that promote and encourage healthy lives and regenerate or revitalize environments.
Our mission is to inspire you to embrace your own greenness, realize the power and joy (and deliciousness) derived from urban farming, and make change in your communities!
To date, we have interviewed over 500 people from around the world who are making a difference. We provide that knowledge base free of charge to our listeners because we believe in the power of education. We want to spark ideas that light up the world and brighten tomorrow.
Here at the Urban Farm, we take our mission seriously to educate and encourage future food growers and green industry leaders. We also teach classes in person, have sold over 50,000 fruit trees in Arizona, partner with the Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance and the GrowPHX Collaborative to create opportunities like the Great American Seed Up, the GrowPHX Collaborative Mesquite Mill, and Speakers Bureau.
If you’ve been finding our work valuable and would like to see The Urban Farm Podcast continue, please consider supporting our team starting at the price of just a bag of apples a month. This will help keep us going and offset the costs of publishing the podcast and weekly multimedia content. If listening to the Urban Farm Podcast is a regular part of your routine, if one of our episodes inspires you, or if you want this resource to remain free for others, please consider joining us as a monthly patron.
As a special thank you for your support, we would like to provide our $10 (or more) monthly patrons with bonus content! This bonus content includes a Monthly Q&A with Farmer Greg. Just email your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org to have them answered in a special Monthly Live interview with Farmer Greg that is only available to $10+ monthly supporters.
We’d also like to thank anyone who chooses to support the podcast with one time donations. Based on your contribution level, we’ll gift you some of the best swag in Urban Farming community.
