Our 18th Annual Fruit Tree Program is in full swing since the Kick-Off Extravaganza in September! Come and join us for a Fruit Tree Open House at the Urban Farm on a beautiful Friday Morning! This is an annual event designed to give you first-hand experience of how fruit trees can be grown in an urban setting. Over 70 trees are growing on Greg’s 1/3 acre, including peaches, apricots, cherries, apples, citrus, loquats, figs, pomegranates, quince, and even an Aravaipa Avocado and a Black Sphinx Date Palm.
- Greg will lead tours at 8:45 am & 10 am and be on hand to answer your fruit tree questions.
- Janis will be there to help with any Fruit Tree Program ordering questions and take any last minute Early Bird orders.
This is the last weekend for Early Bird Pricing and any Special Orders.
Suggested Donation is $10. Please pre-register. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
PLEASE NOTE: This is an outdoor event as we tour the yard, and while the weather this time of year is great for our plants, it can be a bit warm for our persons. So, please bring water, wear sun protection, and wear comfortable walking shoes. Also – this is likely to be a big event, so PLEASE be super conscious of the neighbors, and carpool if you can.)
