Jump Start Your Spring Garden at Mustang Library

March 30 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

| In Person

The (not-so-secret) big secret in Greg’s life is that although he has been a gardener in the Southwest since 1975, he is still discovering how to grow food – and he LOVES it!

Being a lifelong gardener, it is often assumed that he has growing all figured out – so much so that when people tell him they have two black thumbs he just laughs, then promises them that he has killed more plants, including trees, than they probably ever will. In reality, gardening is simple enough that one rule and two very important instructions will make growing a lot easier.

Join Greg as he walks you through the three most important things to know about starting your spring garden. It REALLY is quite simple.

In this in-person class, you will learn:

  • What an “urban farmer” is and how to become one

  • The 3 most important things you need to know about starting your Spring garden

  • The 5 components of healthy soil

  • What regenerative means and why it is so important for the future of your family and our world!
