Have you ever dreamed about planting an entire orchard of fruit trees in your yard, at your church, school or any other piece of vacant land?  If so the Urban Farm orchard program is for you.  With a minimum order of 20 fruit trees we will help you get your fruit trees jumpstarted with education and direction.

This program is specifically designed with flood-irrigated properties in mind as they offer the unique opportunity and appropriate watering regime for your new trees.

How the program works:

  1. Work within your community/school/household to determine who will be responsible for managing the trees on a monthly basis.  Once the trees are planted it is quite simple - probably 20 hours per year total required time invested.
  2. Attend a strategy meeting with the Urban Farm Team to understand and learn the process.  Using Google Earth we can review your site for its plantability.   We will assist you in picking your trees.
  3. Once you attend the strategy meeting, place your tree order.
  4. If you need to raise funds from your community do so.
  5. Attend one of the upcoming fruit tree classes offered by the Urban Farm. You will also receive detailed information about planting, fertilizing and maintenance of your new trees.
  6. Trees arrive in January.  You will need to have a team in place to pick up the trees the day they are delivered.  No excuses.
  7. Tree planting instruction will be offered on tree pick up day.
  8. In three years…eat fruit.

Order requirements.

  1. Trees are in the neighborhood of $25 to $75 per tree.  Our suggested trees all will run $25 per tree.
