Hi All,

I'm new to this group and am looking forward to learning and taking my first step to growing things in the desert. I'm from back east and have lived here 6 yrs. and have been intimidated by the so very different climate and soil. But now I'm ready to move forward-lol.

My question is has anybody grown sea buckthorn in these here parts? If so, could you give me some guidelines and tips please.

Also anyone grow purslane? Back east it grew like a weed all over the place. How does it do in the desert?
